Things are a bit hectic right now, but I wanted to take a moment and post a few details about our Halloween celebrations.
Anthony isn't too keen on costumes, so rather than traumatize him with a big, crazy costume we took a low-key approach and dressed him as a farmer. Grandpa bought him a John Deere shirt and hat from their favorite breakfast restaurant, Cracker Barrel. Paired with his overalls, he looked pretty darn cute!
Because it seems to go along well with Anthony's costume (and because he doesn't yet have the language skills to tell me no), we dressed Jim as a cow. He was pretty agreeable with the outfit, although I'm sure he'll be embarassed to look at the pictures in ten or fifteen years.
The boys participated in lots of events to celebrate Halloween, including a pumpkin-carving party at our neighbors' house.
Anthony also got to dress up for story time at our local library. It was a great place to catch some pictures of Anthony with his friends!
And (of course) both boys took lots of pictures as they were trick-or-treating on Halloween.
It was a very happy Halloween around our house!
