During last night's holiday dinner, my James was wide-eyed with wonder as Santa entered the room. His face lit up and he began waving excitedly as Santa descended the stairs. When the opportunity arose, Jimmy sat near Santa's feet and waited (somewhat) patiently as gifts were distributed. He was not scared or concerned as Santa held him. Rather, he seemed captivated by the magic of the evening.
It is not James' first Christmas, but this is the first Christmas where he can sense the wonder of the holiday season. Whether it is being near Santa Claus, or seeing the sparkling lights, or listening to Christmas songs, James feels the magic.
