I'm not sure it was the soiree that she dreamt of, but the kids felt she would like party hats and noise makers...
And my mom made sure there was plenty of cake and ice cream.
Just before an intense game of pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey, Jim and Anthony (with the moral support of Julia) helped their GG open presents.
While we all adore my Gram, Jimmy seems to have a special bond with her. From the "baby whisperer" techniques she used during his early days, to the innate way she can read his feelings and emotions today, Jim finds plenty of opportunities to be near her.
