Memorial Day Weekend

This week past week has been hectic with end-of-year school activities, but I wanted to post a few photos from our Memorial Day celebrations last weekend.

Our fun began with a Friday Night House Party with Uncle Dave, Aunt Rachel, Joe and Suzanna.  Jimmy and Joe (briefly) stopped eating their pizza long enough to mug for the camera.

The following morning we visited the farmer's market in Willoughby, where Anthony stopped to smell the roses.

We spent some time in our yard, watering our own flowers (and each other).

The boys spent an afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa while the hubby and I hit the Rib Cook Off.  At the risk of being (very) cheesy, the Rib Cook Off was our first date ten years ago this year, so it added a bit of nostalgia to our day.

We trekked out to my school so I could tend to the garden we started, and the boys tested the structural integrity of the shed some students are building to store our tools.

We wrapped up our weekend activities by celebrating with lots of family at Aunt Care and Uncle Rob's house.  Anthony managed to get everyone to play baseball with him, while Jimmy worked in his sharing skills with cousin Julia.

We are blessed to be surround by family.
