SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!
May was a marathon month, filled with appointments, birthdays, practices, and end-of-school-year events. Anthony and his preschool friends celebrated a memorable year of preschool with a Family Fun Day, which included too many reptiles and snakes (courtesy of Outback Ray), a bike parade around the school property, and chance to explore a fire truck and ambulance.
Now that we are well into June, we have shifted from frenzied and fried to (still) rushed but much more relaxed. Our calendar is filled with swimming lessons, baseball games, and days in the school garden, but we have special days, like our weekly lunch at GG's, and unexpected outings that allow us to take a deep breath and enjoy the start of summer.
And when the rain is falling, and we need a quick recharge, our summer schedule has plenty of room built in for an afternoon nap.
