Jimmy spent the last couple of days showing off a few new skills. Probably because he is eager to keep up with his big brother, he is working hard to creep around the room. I can lay him down on his back, and within moments he is on his tummy and slowly inching towards a toy. As cute as it is, I'm not ready for him to be mobile!
He has also started to say "da da." Jimmy has always been the conversationalist, but he especially likes to talk with his daddy. It's so clear that Danny adores his sons, and they both light up whenever he walks into the room.
Finally, we started feeding Jimmy on solids. We had a nice, ripe banana in our fruit bowl and decided that today would be a good time to give the boy his first meal. After we convinced Anthony to sit in the booster seat, and convinced Jimmy that the high chair was actually pretty comfortable, things went smoothly.
The boys started the meal with their best table manners...
But once Anthony started in on his meal...
And Jimmy started sampling some bananas, things got messy!
Both boys enjoyed their food!
