Labor Day Weekend

As usual, we tried to cram too much into our long weekend.

While there were moments of chaos, the resounding theme of our Labor Day weekend was family

Whether it was a pizza party with our girl Julia and Aunt Care, an adventure in the woods (tempered by a run in with poision ivy), or a campfire in the backyard, we celebrated an extra day off of work by being together.

When Anthony and Jimmy meet up with their cousin Joe, they become the Three Amigos.  Anthony happily serves as the ringleader, while the other two follow his directions.  The boys spend all morning at The Great Geauga County Farm, then met up again later afternoon at their Grammy and Pa's house.

After our tradition of Mass and breakfast on the west side (with our entire crew), Dan and my dad took the boys down to the air show.

In a few hours, the draft horses, and breakfast at Cracker Barrel, and driving Pa's boat will become some of our last memories from the summer of 2012, but we will be able to look back at the pictures and recall some of the events for years to come.
