We're expecting Jimmy to "arrive" any day now, but we have (sort of) put plans on hold to get Anthony healthy. He was feeling a bit under the weather earlier this week, and it has turned into a full-blown case of bronchitis. We spent yesterday evening with a CNP from the Cleveland Clinic, who was amazingly helpful in both dealing with the illness, as well as it's implications. Since he has had a number of respiratory infections during the past few months, she feels that he does in fact have asthma. Whatever diagnosis or description the doctors and nurses give, my heart just breaks to see my baby sick. Fortunately, he is a trooper with his albuertol treatments.
It might have something to do with the fact that he is allowed to watch
Blues Clues while he gets his medication.
Or it might be the fact that he gets his favorite snack, a popsicle, after every treatment.
We just need to get Anthony happy and healthy before Jimmy's birthday next week!
