Spring Break 2010

Danny and I have shared some memorable spring breaks.  One year we packed up and spent the week at his mother's lake cottage near Marbleheard, where we (he) fished and (I) read books.  Another year we left the blizzard-like weather of Cleveland, and spent a few glorious days in Las Vegas.  This year is just as memorable, but for a different reason - this was the most peaceful spring break I can recall.

Instead of traveling long distances, we headed to the backyard, where Anthony helped his daddy with some  landscaping.  While it was definitely hard work...

Anthony still took a few minutes to stop and smell the flowers.

We didn't visit any museums or galleries, but Dan helped Anthony create some chalk masterpieces.

Anthony and his daddy spent one morning washing and detailing the family car...

And Anthony made sure his own ride was sparking clean, too.

Despite the fact that I was feeling a little big and a little slow, Anthony still included me in a few photo opportunities.

While it wasn't the most exciting spring break, it was still the
BEST. SPRING. BREAK. EVER.
