Grammy

While Danny and I escaped for a (much needed) date night this weekend, Grammy and the boys had a special date night of their own.

She indulged Anthony and Jimmy in all of their favorite activities, and spoiled them with Happy Meals and a yogurt-and-pretzel treat.  The boys were thrilled that she was able to spend the night, and were eager to wake her up (way too) early in the morning.

We celebrated the morning with a breakfast feast at Bob Evans, then Grammy treated Anthony and James to some new shoes.

Jimmy is rocking some new (rather retro) athletic shoes, while Anthony is hopping around in his first pair of "light up" running shoes.  

Grammy made this weekend special for all of us. 

I know this is a rather common theme for me, but knowing that my kids have grandparents to spoil, coddle, adore, and love them will help them grow into men that will make a difference in this world. 

And, in the short term, Grammy (and Pa, and Grandma and Grandpa, and GG, and Grandpa and Annette) put smiles on all of our faces.
