Our wolf pack took an excursion this weekend... to Great Wolf Lodge!
After we checked into the hotel, we spent some time exploring our "den" and taking a few photos.
We spent some time in the water park before we headed back to a rooms for an impromptu party.
Kids and adults alike spent time eating and chatting until the "hiberation hours" kicked in at 11pm.
The following morning, we were back splashing in the water.
Before we hit the road, we had a great big family lunch.
This mini-vacation was important for two reasons. First, it allowed my boys lots and lots of time with their cousins, aunts, and uncles in a cool, new environment. Secondly, it gave Danny and I a boost of "travel confidence" that we can in fact leave our happy home for a night or two, and seek out a few new adventures.
